Sorenda for Claude

Ask Claude about your notes, and save what you work out together back into Sorenda.

Sorenda connects to Claude as a connector. Claude can search your notes, read whole topics, add new notes, and suggest edits for you to review. You sign in to Sorenda once; no API key is needed.

Connect

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Sorenda and paste https://sorenda.app/mcp as the URL. Leave the advanced settings empty.
  3. Click Connect. Sorenda opens: sign in, choose what Claude may do, and confirm.
  4. Back in Claude, turn Sorenda on for a chat from the tools menu under the message box.

On Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector for the organization first; then each member connects their own Sorenda account. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http sorenda https://sorenda.app/mcp and sign in when asked.

What Claude may do

You choose the access when you connect, and can change it by connecting again.

  • Read only: search notes, read notes and topics, list tags, tasks, and dates.
  • Read and add (the default): also create new notes and suggest edits, which wait in your AI inbox until you accept them. Existing notes can’t be changed or deleted.
  • All, with editing: also change, delete, and share notes, and tick off tasks.

Notes you hide from AI stay invisible to Claude at every access level.

  • “What did I write about the launch budget in Sorenda?”
  • “Summarize my Sorenda topic Trip to Lisbon.”
  • “Save the plan we just made as a Sorenda note tagged work.”
  • “Which of my Sorenda tasks are due this week?”
  • “Save this conversation to Sorenda.”

Requirements and limits

  • A Sorenda Plus or Pro subscription. You can connect without one, but Claude’s requests fail until you subscribe.
  • Claude works with one Sorenda account: the one you signed in with when connecting.
  • Long lists come back in pages, so Claude may make several requests for a large search.

Privacy

Sorenda sends Claude only what a request returns: the notes Claude searched for or opened. Sorenda does not see your chat with Claude, except what Claude passes to Sorenda to save, such as a new note or a conversation you asked to keep. Details are in the privacy policy.

Disconnect

In Sorenda, open Profile → Agents → Connected apps and click Disconnect: Claude loses access at once. You can also remove the connector in Claude’s settings.
