Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sorenda.app and the Sorenda apps (the "Service"), operated by Sorenda ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when you register, and you must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

2. Free plan and subscription

The core editor is free to use with no limit on the number of notes. Optional AI features are available through a paid subscription, billed on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancelling stops future billing; access to paid features continues until the end of the paid period.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to store or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or spreads malware, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

4. Your content

You own the notes, files, and other content you create in Sorenda. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service — including running the AI features you choose to enable. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5. AI features

AI-powered features such as search by meaning, tag suggestions, image and document recognition, and translation are provided on a best-effort basis and may sometimes be inaccurate. Review AI-generated suggestions before relying on them.

6. Public share links

If you create a public link to a note or topic, anyone with that link can view its content until it expires or you revoke it. You are responsible for what you choose to share and for revoking links that should no longer be accessible.

7. User data deletion

You can permanently delete all of your content yourself, at any time, without contacting us:

  1. Sign in at sorenda.app/app/login.
  2. Open your avatar menu and go to Profile, then select the Advanced tab.
  3. In the Destructive section, click Delete all notes.
  4. Type your name or email to confirm, then click Delete everything.

This immediately and permanently deletes all of your notes, trash, uploaded files, and related data — it cannot be undone. To also delete your account itself, email us at [email protected] and we will remove it within a reasonable time.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Sorenda is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
